Urgent Search Continues for Missing 12-Year-Old Girl from Gainesville

Maria Gomez-Perez has been missing since the end of May and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office is asking for any information leading to her whereabouts.

Maria Gomez-Perez, a resident of Westside Drive, was reported missing on May 29th, according to officials from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. Maria vanished without a trace, leaving the entire Gainesville community in a state of shock and concern. Her sudden disappearance has truly been a jarring reality, shaking up the tight-knit community.

Law enforcement authorities confirmed that she was last spotted in the vicinity of her residence on the above-mentioned date. They are now urging the community members to come forth with any form of information that could potentially aid the ongoing investigation. On Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Office announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to Maria’s safe return.

It is yet to be determined if any foul play is suspected. The dedicated officers of Hall County Sheriff’s Office have vowed to leave no stone unturned in their quest to locate Maria and have investigated over 140 tips their office has received. It is now crucial for the community to stand together during these trying times and help the officials with their search.
